12TB ST12000NM0127 FAULTED with read/checksum errors. harbor is the tank replica target — replication continues but the replica has zero redundancy. Either replace the disk or
zpool clearif transient; verify withzpool status harbor.Diagnosed 2026-10-05: /dev/sdb = ST12000NM0127 ZJV4QFLB, FAULTED in mirror-0 (14 read + 22 cksum errors). SMART Reallocated_Sector_Ct raw=3024 and counting — real drive death, not transient. zpool clear NOT recommended (will re-fault). Data safe: mirror ST12000VN0008 clean, no data errors. Fix: replace disk, then zpool replace harbor ata-ST12000NM0127_ZJV4QFLB /dev/disk/by-id/. Also note tank 81%/harbor 80% capacity.
